AQUAGOLD

AquaGold is a customizable microinfusion treatment that uses very fine, gold-plated needles to deliver a blend of ingredients just beneath the surface of the skin. In my practice, I primarily use a combination of growth factors and Botox, with the option to add platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) for additional regenerative benefits.

I use AquaGold when the goal is to give the skin an overall refresh rather than address facial volume or structure. The treatment can help refine the appearance of pores, reduce oil production, and leave the skin looking smoother and more refreshed. Because Botox is delivered very superficially into the skin rather than injected directly into the muscles as it is with traditional Botox treatment, the goal is to improve the appearance of the skin without reducing facial movement.

Although AquaGold uses tiny needles, it is different from microneedling. The needles primarily serve as a way to deliver the customized solution into the skin, rather than create the controlled injury used to stimulate collagen remodeling with microneedling.

Downtime is minimal for most patients. Mild redness, sensitivity, or small pinpoint marks can occur immediately afterward and typically resolve quickly. Results develop over the following days, and treatment can be repeated periodically depending on your skin and goals.
